| EID MILAD UN NABI |

Eid Milad-un Nabi is the birthday of our
beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It is celebrated by all the Muslims with
religious enthusiasm and solemnity across the world. It falls on the 12th
of Rabi'-ul-Awwal every year. This is a day of remembrance for Muslims,
marked by prayers and reading of the Holy Quran. Various congregations are
held where teachings, Sunnah and life of Prophet (PBUH) are remembered.
The roads, streets, mosques and bazars are decorated and illuminated at
night. Various processions are taken out and Naat competitions are held
across the country. Muslims generously donate to charities and distribute
food and sweets to the poor and needy people. The celebrations are restricted
not only to Muslims alone as the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a blessing for
the whole mankind and all the worlds in this universe.
