COMPENSATORY SUPPORT (7.5% DUTY BORNE
BY THE POLYESTER INDUSTRY) ORDER, 2008 |

| Attention of Authorized Dealers is invited to EPD Circular Letter No. 09 dated November 08, 2008 enclosing therewith a copy of Ministry of Textile Industry’s SRO No. 1045(I)/2008 dated September 19, 2008, in terms of which Compensatory Support @ 7.5% as per prescribed procedure has been allowed to the existing PTA users or consumers as mentioned in the said SRO. |

| Now, Ministry of Textile Industry vide SRO No. 1299(I)/2008 dated December 22, 2008 has made certain amendments in its earlier SRO. |
|
| A copy of the SRO. No. 1299(I)/2008 containing revised/amended eligibility criteria, terms & conditions and procedure for filing claims for compensatory support, is enclosed for strict compliance by the Authorized Dealers. |
|
| Authorized Dealers are advised to bring the above to the notice of all their constituents. |
