| Import
of Wheat and Export of Wheat Flour by the
Private Sector |

| Please
find enclosed Ministry of Commerce’s SRO No.
1190(I)/2008 dated 14th November 2008 regarding
import of wheat, SRO No. 1191(I)/2008 dated 14th
November 2008 regarding export of wheat flour by
the private sector and Ministry of Food and Agriculture’s
Notification No. F.6(6)2008-Wheat.I dated 14th November,
2008 containing specifications of wheat to be imported
by the private sector. |

| In
this regard, Authorized Dealers are advised to obtain
approval of the State Bank before establishment
of LCs for import of wheat on behalf of their clients.
The Head Offices of the banks will submit to SBP
a consolidated status of LCs opened on daily basis.
First such report should reach us by the close of
business today i.e. 18th November, 2008. |
