| R&D SUPPORT TO DYED /PRINTED FABRICS, WHITE HOME TEXTILES AND DYED PRINTED HOME TEXTILE- INCLUSION OF CENTRAL AMERICAN COUNTRIES |

Attention of Authorized Dealers is invited to Ministry of Textile Industry's SRO No. 803 (I)/2006 dated 10-08-2006 as amended vide SRO 931(I) 2006 dated 4-09-2006 and SRO No.1128 (I) 2006 dated 10-11-2006 on the captioned subject. Now, Ministry of Textile Industry vide SRO No. 423(I)/2007 dated May 23, 2007 has further amended their pervious SROs by inclusion of seven Central American countries eligible for R&D Support.

A copy of the SRO No. 423(I)/2007 dated May 23, 2007 is enclosed for strict compliance by the Authorized Dealers. Further, the R&D Support to the seven Central American countries would be available prospectively and not retrospectively under the said SRO.

Authorized Dealers are advised to bring the above to the notice of all their constituents.
