In order to strengthen and streamline the internal controls and overall workings of the Exchange Companies of 'B' Category [EC(B)], it is advised to ensure the following with the timelines given thereagainst:

a. Ensure installed efficient software fully capable of fulfilling the business & reporting requirements.
b. System generated receipts should be issued in accordance with the instructions and Rules & Regulations prescribed for EC(B)s including Rules No. 17, 18 and 19.
c. The computer systems must be integrated and interconnected through networking. d. Such software be installed / used which have the capability of working on real-time online basis. |

All the branches of EC(B)s are required to be real time online with their Head Offices. |

The Exchange Companies of 'B' category are directed to meticulously comply with the above instructions.
