| R&D SUPPORT ORDER 2006- MINISTRY OF TEXTILE INDUSTRY |

Attention of Authorized Dealers is invited to EPD Circular Letter No. 23 /EPP-1(51)-3% R&D-2006 dated December 05, 2006 on the captioned subject.
|
|
|
Now, Ministry of Textile Industry vide their O. M. No.8 (102) TID/06 dated February 08, 2007 has replaced the existing procedure circulated through the above mentioned Circular Letter with the following procedure:-

"R&D Support may be allowed on goods (mentioned in the SRO 803 (I)/2006 dated 10-08-2006 as amended vide SRO 931(I) 2006 dated 4-09-2006 and SRO No.1128 (I) 2006 dated 10-11-2006), exported against Bill of Lading, Air way Bills, House Airway Bills, and Forwarders Cargo Receipts (FCRs) subject to the condition that the Bank(s) of the exporter(s) certify that:-

- Payment of goods exported against each of these Bills/FCR (whose numbers should be mentioned) has either been realized by them, or
- Export is against an irrevocable Letter of Credit containing the clause that the shipment may be made against these documents.
|
|
|
In case of House Airway Bills, submission of copy of Carrier Airway Bill will, however, be necessary.”

|
The earlier instructions circulated vide EPD Circular Letter No.23 dated 05-12-2006 stand withdrawn.
|
|
|
Authorized Dealers are advised to bring the same to the notice of all their constituents.
