| IMPORT OF CORRUGATED GALVANIZED IRON SHEETS FROM INDIA |

Authorized Dealers may please find enclosed Ministry of Commerce’s SRO dated the 18th January, 2006 on the above subject.
|
|
|
As per SRO, the Federal Government has made a further amendment in the Import Policy Order 2005. In the aforesaid Order, in paragraph 16, under heading B, in clause (viii), for the second proviso, the following shall be substituted, namely:
|

“Provided further that the corrugated galvanized iron sheets falling under respective H.S. headings shall also be importable from India w.e.f 14th December, 2005 till 31st March, 2006, via land route as well, for exclusive use in rehabilitation of earthquake victims, subject to the verification and recommendation of the Federal Relief Commission or Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA)”.
