| COLLECTION OF VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTION FOR EARTHQUAKE RELIEF THROUGH E-FORMS |

Attention of the Authorized Dealers is invited to FE Circular # 17 dated December 29, 2005 on the above subject.
|
|
|
Consequently, Authorized Dealers were required to consolidate and deposit deductions made by them at the end of each month in the prescribed manner. However, it has been observed that several branches of banks have directly forwarded their deductions to the Exchange Policy Department. It is again clarified that the amounts of contributions collected by the ADs through their branches on account of Earthquake Relief must be consolidated at the appropriate regional/Head Office level and at the end of each month only one consolidated amount along with the reporting on prescribed format be forwarded to Exchange Policy Department.

Authorized Dealers are expected to clarify the same to their respective branches and ensure compliance accordingly.
